KDS Gerontological Consulting, PLLC is a Memphis based private geriatric care management practice designed to guide seniors and their family members through all aspects of the aging process and even the most difficult decisions related to care. No two individuals are alike. For this reason our services are tailored for your specific situation, and we take great care in understanding your needs.  Our services range from single assessments to long term care plans and ongoing Care Management.

Our Assessments (1-2 hour process in the home/facility) include the following:
  ~ Assessment of functional ability
  ~ Home safety
  ~ Medical status/need

  ~ Coordination of care
  ~ Crisis Intervention
  ~ Assessment of functional ability

  ~ Oversight of caregiver quality and compatibility
  ~ Placement Services
  ~ Counseling and Support (in person, by phone)
  ~ Caregiver education and support
  ~ Liaison between family members and local professionals
  ~ Referrals to & Coordination with Local Professionals (medical and legal)


Corporate Services
As a Geriatric Care Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my area of expertise extends into assisting corporations in offering:

~ Employee assistance with aging parents requiring supportive care

~ Assisting employees who have elders living out of the area in order to help them answer important care questions by garnering appropriate resources, finding appropriate placements and home care aides to reduce their caregiver burden with their loved one.

~ Assist as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Employee Assistance Program services to assist with  short-term counseling, referrals, and follow-up services to employees who have personal and/or work-related problems.
